Hello Clare

Tell us about you and Dark Streets Shineth.

What is your next project?
I’m writing an epic series which has been written on and off for years. Books 1 and 2 are completed. 3 and 4 are in the planning stages. This set is sci-fi.
If you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your latest book?
Yes, it would have been longer. Boaz is an intriguing character and I feel like I only just scratched the surface with him. Perhaps he’ll be back in the future.
What is the hardest part about writing?
The editing. I don’t like chopping bits out for any reason. If I have to then the section is copied and filed away and might come out again later.
Do you have advice for other writers?
Do it. Even if it’s rubbish, write a little every day. Pretend every day is nanowrimo and you have to make your 1666 word count.
In no more than
Ten (10) words, what is the spiritual takeaway for your reader?

Even in the tough times, God is there with you.
What is your hero's main character flaw?
Boaz can’t mix work and pleasure.
What is your heroine's main character flaw?
Isabel is afraid to trust a bloke completely
What can readers learn from your villain?
Don’t try to kill Santa. It never ends well.
What makes your hero heroic?
He puts her needs first.
what makes your heroine heroic?
Isabel isn’t afraid to throw herself into the line of fire when needed.
