In Dulci Jubilo (In Sweet Rejoicing) is a macaronic text of German and Latin dating from the Middle Ages and thought to have been written by Heinrich Seuse around 1328. Suese wrote that he had a dream in which angels were singing and he joined in to dance. The tune the words are set to is believed to have already been in existence.
