Once I started reading The Waiting, I couldn’t put it down! I loved Katherine and Sam’s story. Katherine is worried about finding “The One.” I love what her father tells her: “When you find the person you want to promise your love and faithfulness to in marriage, then he or she becomes The One. Your One and Your Only.” The characters were believable and likeable, and I enjoyed following their paths to finding God’s will for their lives. I found myself thinking about them long after finishing the book. I want to read more from Carol James!--
