5 of 5 Stars Pirates, and Clues, and a Storm, oh, my! Who doesn’t love a Christmas mystery? While the idea of spending Christmas on a friend’s private tropical island might sound like the perfect get-away, Jeanine gets caught right in the middle of a hurricane, a murder, and a hunt for pirate treasure. I enjoyed watching her and her family try to figure out the clues and who-dunit. And…I was completely surprised when the actual guilty person was revealed. Bravo to the author. This is a well-written story full of intrigue that will keep you turning pages. It’s a nice little escape from the winter doldrums.
