5 of 5 Stars Evil forces encircle Aaron Field's farm, but at first he's not aware of them. However, he knows he's going to lose the farm to his stepmother. Then Meggie steps in, hoping to use the farm for a church bonfire. She senses the evil immediately and the battle against the demons begins. Unusual and terrifying events occur, but prayer and faith are called upon to fight the malevolent powers of darkness. Meggie and Aaron begin to care for each other but they are met with terrible trials. This is scary and should be read in the daytime, but it is a great story.
