Oh my I read it and loved it. It had a way of speaking to my heart. Matt Bellinger, heir to an automotive supply empire, society born and bred is on the campaign trail for the senate. Heather Cavanaugh heads up volunteers and PR operations for the Capuchin Soup Kitchen and is a hairdresser with a heart for serving. She is firmly grounded in her faith. Their worlds collide when they meet at Sal’s Place, and she brings his carefully orchestrated campaign visit to a screeching halt. She challenges him to volunteer at her fundraiser. Matt faces the biggest challenges of his life, a run for public office, a niece diagnosed with leukemia and Gods gentle whisper. Heather is falling fast and hard for Matt, but knows she can not share his life unless he was to embrace the beliefs she lives by. In order to win her heart and keep it forever, he would have to go through God first. To see Matthew struggle as God tugged at his heart made me want to reach out to him and tell him just to give in to the Masters call. Will he answer God’s call or risk losing Heather by his lack of faith? The author Marianne Evans did a great job of answering the hard questions of faith, how to be strong and find hope in the mist of life altering trials. I highly recommend this book and can not wait to read another of her books. I give it 5 stars.
