5 of 5 Stars I always enjoy the setting of Clare Revell’s books as I’m transported to a different world. Set in the England countryside, Vere and Robyn develop a friendship centered on their common love for music and the antics of Robyn’s little dog, who finds a way to play a leading role in many scenes! I enjoyed reading about the charming shops and the small-town Christmas setting. Things progress nicely in Vere and Robyn’s relationship until a surprising twist, which I didn’t see coming. A wonderful English story with two relatable leads and a mischievous dog – what’s not to like?
