5 of 5 Stars Christmas Lights and Moonlit Nights is a sweet story. Carol James weaves together lovely descriptions of the seaside and the sunsets, and gives us a woman with a strong spirit and a man that is truly a hero. Not only is Jed a Navy SEAL, but he has an incredible heart for children. Who wouldn’t fall for him? I enjoyed the relationship Leah has with her parents, even if her mom does have a few matchmaking tendencies. Leah and Jed fall in love quickly, but sometimes that happens in life. The hard part comes when they have to get past the fact that a Navy SEAL has no time for romance. It’s a sweet read to get you in the mood for the Christmas season.
