I enjoyed this uplifting Christmas novella. It’s the story of two people who have had rough times in their pasts. Simon is homeless, still lost in grief from a tragedy that happened when he was young. Sandra has had her share of grief, too. But instead of giving in to it, she has learned how to overcome it by relying on her relationship with God. One day, Sandra is obedient to the feeling to make a blessing bag and take it to the homeless man in the park, Simon. She gives it to Simon, and a rocky friendship begins. Ms. Clark’s story helps us remember what Christmas is all about. A quick read with an encouraging message, this is the perfect story for the Christmas season.
