5 of 5 Stars The Lodge at Christmas Lake by Erin Stevenson is a moving story about a husband and wife, Tanner and Jillian Holt, who, like many young couples have let the pressures of life come between them and push them apart. They’ve forgotten the love they shared when they began dating at Christmas Lake. Both are busy with their careers. Money is tight. Tanner doesn’t think they can afford to start a family…and then Jillian discovers she’s pregnant. Needing to escape to think about her and Tanner’s relationship, she leaves Tanner and returns to the Lodge at Christmas Lake, where thy first met. And eventually Tanner follows. Well-written and engaging, this was a compelling story of forgiveness and second chances. Of overcoming loss. I REALLY enjoyed this book and highly recommend it. The Lodge at Christmas Lake is a perfect story for the Christmas Season.
