5 of 5 Stars To be truthful, the title of this book made me pause. But, I’ve read Karen Malley’s books in the past and she never disappoints. So, I can honestly say by the end of this story, I found this book to be a treasure. It starts when Lillian invites all her former college roommates to share Christmas with her at Ralestad Hall. Along with Lillian, Rachel, Triya, April, and Heidi had called themselves the Fabulous Five back then. When Lillian reveals this will be her last Christmas due to pancreatic cancer, a palls falls over the women. Still, they pull together and decide to make each day of the week special for Lillian. However, Lillian is aware of all the troubles the women have had over the years and she reaches deep into their hearts to help them see how worthy they are of God’s love despite their perceived failures. She wants them to share heaven with her. They go all out and buy her gifts, but the gifts she gives them tops them all. This was such a touching story and perfect for Christmas.
