I could not stop reading to see what would happen next as Ellie Lou and Caleb faced threats in the form of an unexpected blizzard, physical injuries, and a dangerous outlaw. Their relationship grew and strengthened as together they faced the obstacles life threw at them. But more than just the story of a beautiful romance, it is the themes of faith and trusting God when He seems silent that make this story so very special. Convincing Lou is a wonderful reminder that God has a purpose for the hard times we face, and He never leaves His children to walk through the storms alone.
