5 of 5 Stars For me, this book touched all the bases. I was drawn in by the poignant and yet hopeful plot. Unwed, pregnant Harper has far too much on her shoulder as she cares for her brother and elderly aunt. Then there's Dalton, who takes time to bring joy to the very forgetful Aunt Clara. Though the hero and heroine both have far too many sorrows to even think of beginning a relationship, they cautiously begin to trust each other helped along by dear Aunt Clara and others living in the small town as well. Not only love, but forgiveness and deep faith are featured in this endearing story. Absolutely wonderful writing.
