M Jean Pike has a writing style that draws readers in and holds them at each twist and turn. Her characters will find a place in your heart. From dear old Bessie who nurtured and never stopped praying for her foster children, to Rochelle who is trying to make a new start after some unfortunate events, to Sandy the rugged contractor who has admired Rochelle since high school, to adorable little Jace who just might steal your heart with his antics. Readers will find suspense, drama, and forgiveness within a wholesome story. Ms. Pike has smooth writing with excellent character development as well as vivid descriptions of homes and gardens. Trying to escape her present by returning to her past Ro realizes that God’s hand has led her home. Home to Him and home to Redford Crossing. The story offers a message of love, hope, forgiveness and finding your way home.
