It deals honestly with the physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges of breast cancer. But it's more than a breast cancer survivor story. Christmas at Whispering Creek challenges us to face our trials--whatever they are--with God's strength and to critique the world's standards rather than passively accepting them. I was caught up in Samantha and Cole's story and hoping for a sequel when the book ended.
