5 of 5 Stars Christmas at Whispering Creek is a tender, second-chance at love romance. The characters were authentic, easy to like and the setting was easy to envision. The author did a wonderful job covering Sam’s struggle with her surgery and prosthesis. Cole’s issues with his family added to the story. Christmas at Whispering Creek paints a beautiful picture of two wounded people fully learning to trust God’s plan for their lives and opening their hearts to love again. And all around a Christmas theme. Definitely recommend it and definitely reading more of Barbara M. Briton’s work!
