5 of 5 Stars Redemption’s Hope, the third installment of the Western Dreams series, is a riveting tale that twists and turns on its way to a satisfying ending. Whatever the setting—the colorful New Mexico desert, a burned out Cheyenne village, the mysterious Louisiana Bayou, or cholera-ridden New Orleans—beautifully painted, detailed descriptions draw you into the story and bring it to life. The author effectively executes the flashback element without stalling the flow of the story. The characterization is outstanding including real life historical figures adeptly woven into the story. White Bear and Jenny are two of my favorite characters in the series. Their romantic relationship is endearing. I greatly appreciate the strong faith message of redemption and a personal relationship with God. I also appreciate the author’s Devotional Moment that follows the story with encouraging words about peace. I totally enjoyed this book and recommend it especially for fans of Western Historical fiction. Note: Even though this is the third book in the series, it can easily be read as a standalone.
