5 of 5 Stars I was sure that the last book Mrs. James wrote would always be my favorite. She has proven me wrong. A time for Singing is my new favorite. I love the main character Charlee. Trust doesn’t come easy for a lot of people, including Charlee. I really enjoyed seeing how she worked through her trust issue. Mrs. James brings this story to life with real life issues. She lets the characters struggle in a way that real people would. This story reminds the reader that God gives us a second chance.
