5 of 5 Stars Defending David by author Barbara Britton was an excellent story, one of her best yet! She has a wonderful ability to take a Bible character with a small role and create such a wonderful and realistic story! I loved the emotions shown by not only the main characters but also King David and how he may have felt when his own son turned against him. The Biblical history in this story is very accurate and it just made this period in time so much more real to me! It was a hard book to put down and I enjoyed every minute of reading it.
I would give this book five stars!
