Danger. Miracles. Karen Malley’s A Second Chance for Grace has it all! This beautiful story, the follow up to Following the Sparrows, is everything a Christian romance should be. The plot is fast moving and intriguing, the spiritual message is clear, and the characters are well drawn and likeable. Susan is such a well-rounded and relatable character. On one page the reader finds her attending Bible study, and on another she might be shooting pool or playing darts. But she is always true to herself and her faith. A brand-new Christian, Mac is flawed and sometimes does the wrong thing, but his love for God and for Susan shine through his every move. I appreciated his strength and his humility. Though things did not always go smoothly for these characters, I got a clear sense of God working everything together for their good and His glory. And what a lovely ending! I highly recommend this book!
