5 of 5 Stars Who doesn’t love suspense? Ms Davy pulled me in immediately. Sometimes the heroine Mandi was so fraught with fear that I held my breath. I was right there with her on that mountain road in a snowstorm.
Hero Rylan drew me immediately, but Mandi doesn’t know who he is. When the killer connects with her again, she’s furious to discover who Rylan really is. They are cautious around one another but respectful and admiring. Acceptance and flirting mix in with his protection as he convinces her to testify. But life intensifies again.
Stellar writing kept me reading while my own heart raced. Great job.
