5 of 5 Stars Unlike a soft, gentle snowfall, this story starts off with a crash. On his way to visit a friend in the Poconos, Justin's car plows into a tree in a remote area without cell service during a major snowstorm. Lauren's plans for a quiet Christmas change in that instant. As a nurse, she knows how to care for Justin's injuries, but his hardened view of Christianity disturbs her. Yet, these two slip into an easy relationship in the long hours before the plows come through. I could almost taste the cookies and the hot chocolate as I was reading this. Truly a warm, sweet story.
