5 of 5 Stars This engaging story is hard to put down. It deals with a topic that most will stay away from, physical abuse. The author does a great job of helping the reader understand what the character went through both physically and emotionally, without going into details that could cause trauma if the reader has experienced abuse of their own. The main characters come alive on the page, the story moves at a just the right pace and the way God moves in their lives is believable. I’d recommend this book to everyone.
