Mistletoe Movie Star is a short, sweet, feel-good inspirational romance. The heroine, Char, has a huge heart and is always looking to make her corner of the world a better place. The story addresses the problem of homelessness, and reminds us that all are made in God’s image, and all need to be treated with dignity and respect. The book is well-written, and the characters are well developed, especially for a novella. You can’t help but root for the main characters in their quest for good (and for love!). One line I especially enjoyed: “Lord, I can’t see ten steps down the road, but I know the next step is trusting You.” Something we’d all do well to remember! If you’re looking for a book that will remind you of a Hallmark Christmas movie, put Mistletoe Movie Star on your December reading list!
