5 of 5 Stars Karen Malley's debut novel, Following the Sparrows, was both a delightful and insightful read. I was captivated with the characters from page one and became deeply invested in them. The author struck a perfect balance between the developing romance and intrigue. As various plot points resolved themselves, there was that one elusive, unsolved issue from the heroine's past that kept me turning the pages. The symbolism of the sparrow was woven into the storyline in a meaningful and poignant way. Malley also stayed true to Scripture and included relevant Biblical passages and lessons along the way. I believe this book would be a worthy recommendation for young adult readers who are looking for spiritual guidance in choosing a life's mate.

By the final chapters, I was really rooting for these two characters to have a happy ending, and Karen Malley delivered! I'm delighted that a second installment is in the works featuring two minor characters from this book. I look forward to reading it!
