Settlers’ Hope is the first book I’ve read by Kathleen Bailey. But it definitely will not be the last. This is a beautiful story of learning to let go of past hurts and wrongs to find peace and fulfillment. I loved the strong and wise hero, Pace and the spirited and spunky heroine, Oona. The story drew me in from the first scene and held my interest until the final word. The author has a gift for painting beautiful word pictures that bring the story and setting to life.
