5 of 5 Stars This reader chuckled over the dedication to a cat named Tilly. On Dec 20 there’s a fire in the motel all set for the town Christmas ball, organized by Matilda. She tells acting mayor to give her until the 24th to talk about canceling and refunds for the 300 sold tickets. Tilly calls all over for another venue and then asks Leonard, who has a history with her family. He says no so she goes to his estate personally, where her car brakes fail and she wrecks a tire. He’s anti-tech so she asks to use his landline. She doesn’t stop fighting for his ballroom at Addington Hall. He repeatedly says no and she repeatedly gets sopping wet in the pouring rain. Leo’s aunt says Tilly can stay. Just as the story between her sister and Leo’s brother is about to come forth, Ms. Revell adds a surprise, which I loved. A storm causes havoc throughout the town and Tilly needs to stay at the estate. Leo softens under her influence and change is inevitable. No spoilers. This sweet romance will brighten any season with hope.
