5 of 5 Stars This was a very good book and I enjoyed it very much. It was easy connecting with all the characters and also identifying with their faith struggles. All of the references to the Bible and what God wants for all of us is right on the mark. It is an interesting look at that time in our nation's history. Historical fiction has always been one of my favorites and "Westward Hope" delivered on all counts. I plan to read more by this author.
