5 of 5 Stars Wow life on the Oregon Trail was a lot more than what travellers expected. As we come to know the main characters in this story we find ourselves caring for them, crying with them over the trials that happen as we traverse the different land conditions they must travel through. When I started this book I thought it was going to be a romance but thank goodness it was so much more. Our main characters not only have the difficulties of the trail but they are also running from the difficulties of their past lives. It ended up that everything I enjoy in a book was in this one. It is a Christian book so there was no profanity or inappropriate intimacy. The characters learned to put their trust in God without preaching simply by the life they lived. There was suspense, action, mystery and romance what more is there to want...
