Has the dream ended before it's begun? Tragedy strikes the Sisters in Spirit, presenting a challenge the likes of which God alone can shape into goodness.
Siobhan Douglas can't carry a tune–but her expressive, joy-filled dances give Sisters in Spirit its unique presence with a delightful energy that flows straight from Siobhan's soul. Celebrating a recording contract has turned to horror following a car accident that leaves Siobhan broken–physically and emotionally.
Orthopedic surgeon AJ Cooper is driven by the world of healing. He even thought he was fulfilled–until Siobhan. He's never met a more enchanting and determined patient. He's never been more tempted to leave behind a career-centered focus... But Siobhan battles demons the likes of which she's never encountered and she's certainly not going to complicate her life further by falling in love with her doctor. Dancing was her gift. Why would God take it away? Is she not meant to be part of the Sisters in Spirit?
Can Coop's healing hands and ready heart pave the way for Siobhan to recover not just in body, but in spirit as well?
5***** Siobhan’s Beat by Marianne Evans....As I was extremely excited to dive into another Sisters in Spirit novel, Siobhan’s story had me on the edge of my seat, full of tears, full of joy! Talk about conquering the world by storm with an amazing comeback! Siobhan did just that! In that she taught me how to be a stronger person and that no matter what happens to bring you down, it will not bring you down. God is with you, Sisters are with you, Loved ones are with you, always always! That is something I forget sometimes, it was so great to get reminded of that. Siobhan meets her match in her doctor, however. Their story is full of joy, laughter and heartache a time or two, but it’s one that will have you wanting to jump into the book and hug them both and hold on tight. They take you on a fairytale that all girls dreams about. And dreams are possible! This was another reminder to me that my dreams, go for them! Never give up! God loves you and you are everything to Him. Thank you Mari
The second book in The Sisters in Spirit series was just as awesome as the first. Siobhan runs into difficulty performing after an accident. The book had me in tears by the time I finished it. Such a good ending.
This is the second book in the Sisters in Spirit series and as with the first a great read. Life is great, the best friends have just signed a contract to produce CD/DVD and concerts to share the message of God's love and his many gifts, when Siobhan has an awful accident. The girls, Aileen, Kassidy and Maeve rally around their dear friend and lift her up in all ways that they can, even to having their own mini concert in the hospital. Tears of laughter streamed down her 29 face, the best medicine known to science. pg 40 The Dr. on Siobhan's case is not only a looker but a man of faith, and charm and the sparks will fly between the two. As it does, and as the other girls also deal with their temptations of the flesh, we are reminded of a purity pac they had made earlier. The words were their time honored mantra and a point of truth. A vow of purity, and of bonded friendship, had seen the four of them through the toughest times of standing steadfast in God’s promise and their mu
