“Redeeming Christmas” was such a lovely story of love and the power of God’s grace. A beautiful reminder during the Christmas season!!
This book starts off with an author, Olivia, as she does some people watching. It was such a delight to get into the head of the author and know what she was thinking as she put her story together. She meets Gabe in a perfume shop and imagines him as an attorney, an undercover cop, or a secret agent. But later, when she goes to her grandmother's house she discovers that Gabe is fixing the house next door for his mother and he needs a bit of help with putting up wallpaper. While this starts off as a sweet romance, there are serious issues. Both Gabe and Olivia are hiding painful secrets that keep them from becoming thoroughly committed to each other. It is only in offering their burdens to God that they can be redeemed from the past. A truly wonderful Christmas story filled with sweetness and joy.
