Gabe is one of those rare creatures, a humble rising star entrepreneur, while Liv is a novelist who views the world through internal description. Told through both their eyes, their budding romance starts innocently during a holiday shopping event. Redeeming Christmas is a great read. The story moves at a great pace. The characters jump off the page. The message within the story is timely and one that everyone can relate with. I fell in love with the characters. If you want an escape for a few hours this is the book that you want. You won’t regret the time you invest in Redeeming Christmas. Once you finish this story, check out other books by Carol James, they too are inspiring reads.
From the opening scene to the last word, Redeeming Christmas had me hooked. James’ trademark subtle humor reels the reader deep into the minds of the characters. Liv, a romance writer, spins gorgeous, romantic prose about Gabe, but one phrase from his POV had me in a puddle: He floated weightless in the ocean of her eyes. Swoon! James threw a major curve ball near the end, and nothing could have kept me from finishing. The ending was happy and sweet, just the way I love them! Five stars for Redeeming Christmas.
