I had an ARC for this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Kristin works for her father in the office of his car repair business. She moves into a new apartment, and meets the owner of the complex, Cam when she accidently locks herself out in the middle of the night. He’s substituting for the regular maintenance man. They continue to interact, and end up overseeing the church youth as they put together the Christmas float for a parade. Cam’s difficult youth has shaped him and his ideas, but Kristin shows him that faith and Christmas can have a place in his life. A heartwarming book about love, faith and growth as a person.
Carole of the Bells is a wonderful tale of two people finding happiness. Carole has a secret she’s keeping from everyone in her life. It’s a secret she needs to keep so she doesn’t lose everything that is important to her. You can’t help but root for her to start trusting the cute music teacher at her school. It kept me turning pages!
Another great story by Carol James. This engaging story was a delight to read with believable characters I was instantly drawn in. It’s a great reminder that with Jesus forgiveness and new beginnings are always available. I love how both Kristin and Cam were about to overcome the hurts of their past.
