Cara Dalton lives a normal, routine life until her first daring adventure lands her in imminent danger. Mistaken as a witness to a brutal crime, she becomes the target of a ruthless drug smuggler who is willing to stop at nothing to silence her. Now, she must place her safety in the hands of a wounded stranger. Undercover agent Gage McKenna knows all too well the dangers Cara is up against. Recovering from a life altering injury—inflicted by the same man who now hunts Cara—Gage faces an uncertain future of his own. As Gage and Cara team up to fight this highly motivated killer, they must learn to rely on each other or risk losing it all.

High octane suspense! Twins have a special connection. Cara Dalton follows her twin, Jonas, into Columbia, thinking he is on a missionary venture. She is shocked to return to the states and have said twin turn her over to his former partner for safekeeping from a druglord. She hates the confinement, being told what to do when, depending on someone she barely knows. Gage, Jonas's partner, doesn't much like the idea of playing bodyguard for this new woman who has a mind of her own and who possibly pities him his disability. Can they work together and trust God to bring good out of a bad situation? Davy has obviously set herself up for a second book involving Jonas as the main character, should she choose to make this into a series. I received this book from bookfun.org in exchange for an honest review.

Wow! This is the first book I have read by Wendy Davy and it was amazing, exciting and thrilling. Cara and Gage were wonderful character and the plot was very good; this book was so good that I wish it was longer. Ms. Davy has made me a fan and I can't wait to read more of her books. I received a free copy of this book courtesy of The Book Club Network for my honest review.

Gage is wounded not only physically but spiritually as well. It takes the spit, fire, and vinegar of Jonas' baby sister Cara to bring Gage back to life. this a wonderful story of renew with God, Love, and friendship. Neither Gage nor Cara like the situation they are forced into. But what starts as dislike and discomfort for both turn into romance and devotion. This was a fun easy read but with a message. God never leaves you and how what seems as a bad time in our lives is really for Gods glory.
