Beth Tarrington has it all: a gorgeous fiancé, a lucrative career, the latest model car, and a high-priced condo. On top of that, the Tarrington name opens every door in town. So why is she so discontent? When everything falls apart in Beth’s life, will she finally find the strength to stand on her own two feet?

Is God really willing to stand by her side, even after she's ignored Him for so long?

When Jason Brooks meets Beth, his head tells him to run in the opposite direction. Beth is a high-society snob engaged to another man, and he’s not sure where she stands with God.

So why does God keep bringing the two of them together?

Can these two find love, in spite of everything that stands in their way?

I enjoyed this book so much. Moonlight and Mystery has a fast-moving plot, a breath- stealing romance, and a wonderfully diverse cast of true to life characters, representing the good, the bad and the downright ugly! On the surface, Beth has the perfect life-- the right fiancee, the right job, social status, and everything money can buy. She thinks she knows just what she wants out of life… until she meets Jason, a birthday-party-magician who is unlike anyone she’s met before. As she and Jason spend time together, Beth begins to question everything she thought she knew and wanted in life. The story was action packed, and with each new twist I found myself quickly turning the pages to see what would happen next! I loved Beth’s transformation from a pampered, high society snob to a caring and down-to-earth, young woman, brave enough to stand on her own two feet. The romance was beautiful, and the message of faith was skillfully and naturally woven into the story. I recommend Moonlight an

Beth has everything - a family name, money and plenty of it, and a fiancé. When she meets Jason, she realises she doesn't actually want anything- except him and he's off limits. What she really needs is the courage to take a step away from all she has, but dare she actually do it, and how will her father react if she doesn't actually do what she wants, not what he wants. A great read, one which I didn't want to end when it did.

Beth has to live up to the family name. The name Tarrington influences everything from where she lives and worships to who she's engaged to marry. But a simple, yet magical, carnation and the part in a local play are about to change not only who she thinks she is, but how she reacts to life and the people around her. One of those people is Jason, a science teacher at a Christian school, as well as amateur actor and part-time magician. (I loved the way he wove true observable science and the Bible together as he taught!) He's immediately smitten with Beth, but she's both engaged and way out of his league. Their roles in the play and random life keep bringing them together and help them past preconceived notions. Speaking of the play, the smidgens of the mystery they enact are wonderful and it was actually a scene in the play that brought me to tears. Even for someone like me (who doesn't regularly read contemporary romance) there were enough plots and twists to keep me turning pages. De
