The mystery picks up speed in this book, and we learn more about Isabel's past as she and Zander chase down the Prayer Slayer. You definitely need to read this mini-series in order. They are not stand alone books. Zander and Isabel's adorkable, joking relationship grows stronger as they pull together and learn to trust each other more. I finished the book on tender hooks to start the third book in the series.
