Used to working alone, Jamie’s not happy when she’s assigned a partner. And after a failed operation and their failed romance, Enrique Rodriguez is the last person she wants to work with—ever.
To succeed, Jamie must confront her past as well as the people who want her dead.
SPOILERS ALERTS !!! I liked the story and the both main characters but it's not the best I've read. Even though I prefer Christian literature to secular in this book it was too much 'Christianity' for one book. It appears unrealistic to me Ryan changes his mind so fast. The references to Christian ways of life are so many the story seems to be of secondary importance. Though it's obviously from the beginning Jamie and Enrique will find together it's happening too fast to be realistic. Was Ryan's dead really necessary? Altogether this book was OKAY a nice read if you have nothing better to do.
