At the very beginning, The Builder's Reluctant Bride captured my attention with its compelling twists and turns. Stacey has a delightful way of weaving a message of hope and humour beside tension, conflict and unhealed wounds of the past. I found the story enlightening and intriguing as it helped me look at a few of my own issues and, as well, point me to the one Person who has answers for each of us. I have just finished reading Stacey Weeks' novel, The Builder's Reluctant Bride, and found the character outlines well established right from the beginning of the book. The story line flowed throughout the whole book and captured my attention until the end. It will be attractive to anyone who enjoys a romantic and fun read. This is a wonderful book of encouragement & hope through, disappointment, betrayal, hurt, unforgiveness, brokenness and freedom found in God alone! The underlying theme of doubt & unforgiveness simmers under the building of relationships & climaxes with a total meltdown that leads to healing & restoration with God & relationships. A great read!
