Creative artist Moselle Carson gives new life to old items, but she can't seem to renew her shattered ideal of love. When she returns to her hometown to help with a new family business, memories of a broken heart and small-town gossip chip away the tough exterior she's erected over the years. Now she's forced to decide whether she'll rebuild the wall or trust that true love never dies when it is ordained by God. Generous insurance agent and vulnerable firefighter, Eric Todd, remembers too well how he mistreated Moselle and then set her aside. Now he longs for true love and the second chance to become a husband and father. Can he learn to forgive himself and still keep the secret that may redeem him in her eyes?
dlathambooks@gmail.com (Sunday, 08 January 2012) Rating: 5 I was captive from the first words of this sweet romance: I saw you today. What a wonderful way to hook a reader! Into Moselle Carson's story, the author has woven a lifetime of love, a sucker-punch of pain, betrayal and heartbreak, a breath of humor, and page after page of plain old "good writing." I confess to wondering about the title long before reading the book. What on earth could insurance have to do with a romance? I discovered that Moselle's Insurance is more than a policy…more than a sexy hunk of an insurance agent that hasn't released her heart since he stole it and then threw it away in high school. It's a secret worth learning. Highly recommended for any reader who loves stellar writing and a gripping storyline that honors Christ from beginning to end.
