Country music bad-boy, Chase Bradington, is on a come-back trail. Fresh from rehab for alcohol addiction, and transformed by the power of Christ, Chase is battling to rediscover the music he loves and a career he nearly ruined. Then he meets up-and-comer, Pyper Brock, and instantly, sparks ignite.
Pyper knows of Chase’s reputation so, despite a rampant attraction to the handsome and talented icon, she soundly dismisses his romantic overtures. Decades ago, her father, in a drunken rage, tossed her and her mother onto the streets. No way will Pyper make the mistake of falling for a man who's done battle with the bottle.
What happens when Chase’s quest to win Pyper’s love breaks down chains of resentment and eases the long-buried wounds of her childhood? And what happens when Pyper’s father shows up in Nashville, clean, sober and seeking a chance to apologize?
Can Pyper follow a pathway to peace when it comes to her father? Can she fully trust Chase? Above all, can a sin-damaged past be released in favor of forgiveness?
Forgiveness weaves a great multi-tiered story about not only people in the spotlight of entertainment, but also the light of God in their lives and the lives of others. Alcohol addiction and the caved in hurt it causes comes to focus in this well written, easy reading novel.
The author, Marianne Evans, brings the flavor of the Nashville Christian music scene, the consequences of a person's past the the grace of forgiveness together to show God's love, grace and mercy in the second chances He gives us all.
Take the time to read this novel, it will open you to - perhaps - a chance for your forgiveness. Well written book, thanks to the author for taking the time to open her heart.

Forgiveness is a truly great book on many levels. It was fun to catch up with old "friends" (Ken, Kiara, and Annie Lucerne; Tyler, Amy, and Pyper Brock). Chase and Pyper's love story is both intense and delightful. But the most gripping element of Forgiveness is it's message. Without doubt a five star must-read!

I received Forgiveness by Marianne Evans as a free book. Wow!! I love, love, love this wonderfully faith filled story built around a Woodland Church family. Pyper, Chase and the Brock family takes your heart on a roller coaster ride with all their trials and triumphs. The ending is superb with the emphasis on putting God first in your life and receiving trust, love, grace and yes, "forgiveness".
