THIS BOOK: delightful spirited fun! Toni Sheridan once again gives us characters and storylines that entertain and inspire. This is the second season we've met up with this quirky family and we hope this becomes an annual Christmas read. Heartwarming and full of cheer!
“…as if God had spilled a purse of diamonds across a swath of black velvet.” And then nurse Jane wakes up in a hospital bed. Doused with humor and terrific one-liners, this author sucked me into the story. Enter former-drummer-turned-pastor Tim, who’s drawn to her from the get-go. Jane uses flirtation to hide insecurities and struggles with seeing herself as Tim does. No spoilers. Satisfying ending.
