This is a wonderful book. Very well written. Strong characters. Easy to read but can be extremely painful in many parts. As the adult child of alcoholics myself, I found this book to be helpful in dealing with some of my own issues. The hardest issue being, of course, complete forgiveness. What a tough topic to tackle, even if it is a fiction story. The truth of the matter runs throughout. Thank you, Marianne, for writing such a great book. I loved it!!!!! A great love story that gives insights into the far-reaching effects of addiction and challenges us to truly live out what we say we believe. It shows how God can turn the suffering our choices cause into a way to help others. It is an enjoyable and meaningful read.
