I found Colin and Serena’s story to be an absolute delight. Filled with playful teasing, flawed perceptions, and second chances – this is a story that will charm you no matter the season. Ms. Durgin’s characters have so much depth that you always feel as if you are riding along in the backseat watching all the events unfold and who wouldn’t want to take a trip to the magical town of Starlight? A place that reminds me of what life used to be like – neighbors caring for one another, friends praying for one another, and a diner where you are greeted by name. It just couldn’t get any better than this. This is the fourth installment in the series, but could be read by itself. If you are looking for a magical journey, Starlight is where you want to go! Grab a cup of hot chocolate, snuggle in front of the fire and take a trip to Starlight for Christmas. It was nice revisiting old friends and finding new ones. The adorable Lilly was my favorite character This book is a romance about Colin and Serena but also about God's love and healing. A copy of this book was given in exchange for an honest review. Loved, loved, loved the story of Colin and Serena (and Lily). Colin knows what it is to live a life of sin but rejoices in his new path with the Lord. Serena knows heartbreak. Miss Lily is a joy! This story shows how life can tear you down but how God can rebuild your hopes and dreams when you put your faith and trust in Him. Way to go JoAnn, another beautiful Christian book for us to thoroughly enjoy. Becky B
