Monday’s Child must Hide for Protection...

This was not the assignment Luke Nemec expected when he came to the UK—babysitting a beautiful widow. It wouldn’t be so bad if Sara wasn’t such a hostile witness. Despite her complaints and continued jibes, Luke finds himself falling for her.

When, Sara Barnes is thrown into the witness protection programme, she becomes the “wife” of Lt. Luke Nemec, an American cop on temporary assignment with the British police. Despite Luke’s American bravado, she finds he’s kind and considerate in ways her late husband never was.

But things aren’t always what they seem, and Luke soon realizes he’s fighting a battle of two fronts to keep Sara safe. Loyalties are called into question, and he’s no longer certain who he can trust. Luke is way out of his depth. As the threats against Sara escalate, it’s a race against time to find her husband’s killer before Sara is silenced forever.

marmo212@yahoo.com (Saturday, 22 September 2012) Rating: 5 What an innovative series premise: Seven books, each featuring a different day of the week, based on the reconfiguration of a time-honored nursery rhyme. The suspense hits full throttle, from page one, and doesn't let up until the end - except for those playful barbs and the sparky electricity between the hero, Luke Nemec and the heroine, Sara Barnes. When it comes to suspense, Revell writes with a keen, magnetic edge. When it comes to relationship development (equally important!) she shows a deft hand at writing playful dialogue and beautifully balances the plot line with the emotional progression of the story. I can't wait for Tuesday's Child - and am sure it will be amazing!

sunriserun63@aol.com (Thursday, 31 May 2012) Rating: 5 I bought Monday's Child on a Saturday afternoon expecting to read a bit and then set it down until the next day. Oh, boy...that sure didn't happen. Once I began reading, I was hooked! I absolutely, positively could not put this one down. The blend of romance and suspense is superb, and the depth of emotion is so very touching. I am eagerly looking forward to the rest of the books in this series. Clare Revell is truly a master novelist. What a treat! I highly recommend Monday's Child to anyone looking for a GREAT story.
