Oh my goodness! In A Second Chance for Grace, Ms. Malley deals with the issue of teenage pregnancy in a way that shows God's love, mercy, forgiveness and yes, grace, in a way we should all strive to exemplify. I love how the title reflects so many aspects of the story! Kudos to Ms. Malley for a heart-warming story that encourages and challenges while it entertains.
Susan has a good, faithful heart but she is not very perceptive, which is part of the reason this book drew me in. Her pregnant, sixteen year old niece is more intuitive. Still, Susan takes on the responsibility for her niece when the teenager's parents are ready to disown her. Then there's Max, who has some rough edges. Behind them stands a community of believers working together to do what needs to be done. A sweet story of people working wonders with their faith.
