I\u2019ve been around Pelican Book Group for a while now, since 2010. Many of you know me, and I\u2019m sure I\u2019m new to others.
\nThis is quite different for me, publishing nonfiction.<\/p>\n

Never in my wildest dreams had I considered writing anything but fiction. Well, monthly blogs. But look what the Lord has done! I\u2019m still in awe, three years later. And I can take no credit for what flowed from my pen onto the paper.<\/p>\n

Wherever you are in life, if you\u2019re especially in a dark place, pick up a journal and pour out your thoughts. I\u2019ve been in a situation where words for prayers wouldn\u2019t come. I could only cry out, \u201cJesus!\u201d<\/p>\n

And even now, I struggle with some stories. I\u2019ll sit down to write and my mind is all over the place, even after praying, and sometimes I\u2019m sure even if our busyness if serving others, that the enemy has something to do with our scattered thoughts.<\/p>\n

So I\u2019ll begin writing, I don\u2019t know what to write. I don\u2019t know what to write. I don\u2019t know what to write<\/i>. And all of a sudden, the words are flowing. Or not.<\/p>\n

I pray my modern-day psalms in Shelter in the Night<\/i> touch the lives of readers in a way that draws you closer to our Lord. And if you are inclined to write a review, you have no idea what reviews mean to authors.<\/p>\n
