How did you come up with your title?<\/strong><\/div>\n

I had a shoulder replaced in June of 2020. The surgeon also did repair on a broken acromion (the\u00a0flat bone connected to the clavicle) that forms the top curve. I found out later the pins were just\u00a0\u201cfloating.:\u201d So that part of the operation hadn\u2019t worked.<\/div>\n
Often awake in the wee hours around three a.m. with my Bible, I ran across this verse,\u00a0Psalm\u00a091:1.<\/div>\n
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will<\/div>\n
say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”<\/div>\n

What is your writing schedule like?<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
During the year 2020, I filled four journals mostly in the middle of the night. I usually keep\u00a0specific times during the first draft of a story, my most disciplined hours of my writing life. I\u00a0won\u2019t open email, go to Facebook, or play solitaire, until I\u2019ve written 1000 words, or\u00a0approximately four pages.<\/div>\n
The rest of the time, I work on the rewrites or when the characters have something to say.<\/div>\n

What makes this book special to you?<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Oh, let me count the ways. First, never in my wild imaginings had I considered writing poetry. I\u00a0still prefer to view my efforts as verse, or modern-day psalms. Truly, the words flowed without\u00a0much thought and I did very little editing or changing. I\u2019ve heard poets say they search for just\u00a0the right word hours, days, or longer. Again, I\u2019m not really a poet or know much about writing\u00a0poems.<\/div>\n
I\u2019d like to think I was Spirit led, or wrote while on another plane, rather than where I sat in the\u00a0comfort of my TV room chair.<\/div>\n

Did you learn anything from writing this book? What was it?<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I grew so much closer to my Lord and Savior. I considered YAHWEH, the God of the Old Testament from more of an \u201cin awe\u201d or fear or respectful viewpoint than ever before. Deeper, God\u2019s words struck me on a deeper level. His works are so beyond comprehension.\u00a0In a nutshell, it became clear to me that my purpose, my duty to fulfill, is to grow in Him.<\/div>\n
