\n\t\t\t\t\tMost of the central ideas for my plots come from Christian song lyrics, a Bible verse, or a point from a sermon. \n\t\t\t\t\tI’m working on a full length novel based on the Secret Drawer Society (SDS) which began at Longfellow’s Wayside Inn in Sudbury, MA. In it, the hero and heroine pass letters back and forth by hiding them in a secret drawer in one of an inn’s bedrooms. And neither of them suspects the other as being one of the authors. Several years ago, I stumbled across the SDS on a vacation and knew I’d write a book based on the idea.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t \n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n| \n \n\t\t\t\t\tIs there anything you find particularly challenging when it comes to your writing?<\/strong>
\n\t\t\t\t\tI’m a very slow writer. Once I have an idea, I have to think about it, mull it over, let it germinate before I begin putting ideas on paper (or the computer screen this day and time). Some books I’ve written have taken years to complete.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t \n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n| \n \n\t\t\t\t\tDid you learn anything from writing this book? What was it?<\/strong>
\n\t\t\t\t\tI always learn something from writing. In this book, I learned that what most of us call cedar trees are actually Junipers. I did some research about a group of people called the Cedar Choppers who made fence posts and rails in Texas in the 1800’s. (There’s a conversation in the book about this.) Rebekah learns that Ethan is more than just a handsome face.\n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n\n\t\t\t\t\t \n\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n \n| \n \n\t\t\t\t\tIn no more than
