I&#39;m KC to everyone else because there&#39;s nothing cute and cuddle about me. I&#39;d like to ask my birth mother why she named me Kitty, but I can&#39;t because I&#39;m adopted. Now don&#39;t get me wrong, I love my parents and two adopted brothers, but I&#39;ve always had a desire to find out why I was abandoned at age six.\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" width=\"100%\">\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Where do you live, and why do you choose to live there?<\/strong><br \/>\n\t\t\t\tI live in San Diego now, but I did work in Hollywood for many years &#8211; as a stunt double. After I broke my leg, I moved back home. Good thing too, as I was diagnosed with cancer a few months later. My folks took care of me, and when I recovered, I chose a different career path and decided to stay in San Diego.\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" width=\"100%\">\n\t\t\t\t<strong>What is a quirk of your personality that people don&#39;t know?<\/strong><br \/>\n\t\t\t\tThis is hard to answer because I don&#39;t hold much back. Mom says I&#39;m like a bulldozer, rushing into situations or relationships. But now that you made me think, I&#39;d have to say that I charge ahead because I&#39;m basically insecure.\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" width=\"100%\">\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Who chronicled your story, and why do you think he\/she picked you?<\/strong><br \/>\n\t\t\t\tI think the author chose to write my story because she has a passion for portraying people as they really are, and not using stereotypical ideas of what the hero or heroine should look like. I&#39;m glad she picked me, because I&#39;m not typical in any way.\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" width=\"100%\">\n\t\t\t\t<strong>What obstacles did you overcome in order to reach your happily-ever-after?<\/strong><br \/>\n\t\t\t\tHow much time do you have? Before I could reach my HEA, I had to overcome obstacles just to stay alive. I was abandoned at age six, and as a mixed-race child, not many people were interested in adopting me. Then along came William and Ellen Briggs. William, African-American, and Ellen, as white as can be, my loving parents. My home life notwithstanding, I was always the tallest kid in every class, and could hold my own on the playground. I&#39;m still embarrassed at the number of times my folks had to visit the principal&#39;s office with me. College was a little easier, and working in the film industry was great. But then came my accident and the cancer diagnosis. How could I find a man who would marry me knowing my cancer might return?\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" width=\"100%\">\n\t\t\t\t<strong>Tell us about your special romantic interest. What makes them so special?<\/strong><br \/>\n\t\t\t\tMy Coop! He&#39;s a trustworthy guy who doesn&#39;t show his emotions much. I had to really work on him to open up. He treats me like an equal, but also wants to protect me and help me achieve my life-long dream.\n\t\t\t<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" width=\"100%\">\n<p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<strong>The first time you saw your special person, what did you think? Was it love at first sight or did they have to grow on you?<\/strong><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\tGood-looking guy, for sure, but all business. However, I broke through the outer crust and found a vulnerable soul. Not love at first sight, but intrigue for sure.
