Looking back we see the amazing things he did<br \/>\nwhen led by God. Can we find inspiration and tips from the writings of Moses? &nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nHow exactly did he start? Did he just grab a pen and recount his life? How did he know what to write?<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Moses Saw a Burning Bush&#8230;<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nSometimes story ideas are like that&#8211;a plot that burns like<br \/>\na flame in the mind of the author. &nbsp;You start to<br \/>\nwrite and like Moses, you&#8217;ve said \u201cHere I am.\u201d<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<i>Exodus 3:4 And when<br \/>\nthe Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst<br \/>\nof the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.<\/i><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>But Why Me?<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nPerhaps as you get into the manuscript you have self doubts. \u201cLord,<br \/>\nwho am I to write this story?\u201d That\u2019s what Moses did. He had doubts and a general lack<br \/>\nof confidence. Just because we have doubts doesn&#8217;t mean we&#8217;re on the wrong path. Moses wasn&#8217;t.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<i>Ex 3:11 And Moses said<br \/>\nunto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring<br \/>\nforth the children of Israel out of Egypt?<\/i><\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>What if others don\u2019t believe I should be doing this? How can<br \/>\nI prove I should?<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<i><b>What if <\/b><\/i>people think you shouldn\u2019t do this? Well, if someone<br \/>\nelse should be writing your story, would you have seen that burning bush?&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nEx 3:13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto<br \/>\nthe children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath<br \/>\nsent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say<br \/>\nunto them?<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>What if after I&#8217;ve done all this no one listens?<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nWhat if my books don\u2019t sell well. What if no one wants to<br \/>\nread them. Again self doubt&nbsp; gets in the<br \/>\nway.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nDon&#8217;t let the what if&#8217;s rule your life. &#8220;What if&#8221; hasn&#8217;t happened. Don&#8217;t let it stop you.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nEx 4:1 And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will<br \/>\nnot believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The Lord hath not<br \/>\nappeared unto thee<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Am I really qualified to do this?<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nMoses had a learning curve, so does any writer. And learning never really stops. This is such an amazing question, because it keeps you sharp as a writer and challenges you to hone your skills.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nEx 4:10 And Moses said unto the Lord, O my Lord, I am not<br \/>\neloquent, neither heretofore, nor since thou hast spoken unto thy servant: but<br \/>\nI am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>&nbsp;God&#8217;s answer is an encouragement and &nbsp;a promise&#8230;He&#8217;s there for you.<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nEx 4:11 And the Lord said unto him, Who hath made man&#8217;s mouth? or<br \/>\nwho maketh the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the Lord?<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li><b>And what happened then?<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<b><\/b>Moses told his family and they were<br \/>\nall happy\u2014actually no. He didn\u2019t get a lot of support. His wife didn&#8217;t seem happy at all, but he<br \/>\nkept going knowing that God had called him.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\nHappy Writing<\/div>\n<div class=\"MsoNormal\">\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Part 1 Moses was one of the great writers of the Bible, and we all know the story of the Exodus.
